As a math video creator at IXL Learning, I create short instructional videos for topics in highschool mathematics. These videos explain the given math concept and walk through example problems.

As a teaching assistant at WSU I've taught multiple labs in Calculus I & II, Introductory Linear Algebra, Mathematics for Business and Economics, and the Linear Algebra Graduate Qualifying Exam study sessions. Responsibilities include teaching lessons, supporting student understanding and learning, providing activities, worksheets, and quizzes, and holding office hours as further support for students.

As a research assistant, I explored Nonnegative Matrix Factorization (NMF) and its application in audio processing and source separation. This research was coupled with writing code in Python that successfully separated audio clips into their individual sound sources.

Foster academic independence, self-sufficiency, and confidence within the student-athletes. Employ active learning practices and motivation strategies while facilitating learner independence.

Facilitate learning as a guide or coach to assist the student to become a successful, independent learner. Greet students, staff, and visitors and offer assistance. Maintain the Math Lab as a pleasant place to study.
