Taught reading, writing, math, and science in English and Spanish to as many as 24 second grade students with a focus on Responsive Classroom approaches and culturally responsive teaching methods.Collected and analyzed student data to build individualized learning goals and plans and to inform instruction and pacing. Built direct communication with 24 families through weekly bilingual newsletters and four annual events.Served as Team Lead, collaborating with school leadership and teachers to adjust curriculum based on data-informed decisions and managing grade-level meetings, spending, and educational experiences.Piloted two science curricula and met monthly with the Science Pilot Team to plan for implementation, analyzing data from two learning experiences and surveys and selecting a science curriculum to serve 19,000 students district-wide.
