- Coordinates with Learning & Organizational Development, Employee Relations and Recruitment to ensure a smooth pre-employment, on-boarding process and acculturation of all new employees.- Schedules workshops, instructors and rooms. Assists instructors with course setup and other training requirements.- Facilitates orientation programs, assessing impact with Director and senior management, modifying as required.- Supports L&OD Department initiatives, as well as other HR Department initiatives, by providing training support for projects and new application of educational tools and programs. Assists L&OD Director, Training Manager and Project Managers in carrying out on-going projects.- Conducts formal and informal classroom and 1-on-1 training for new hires. Assists the Training Manager and Training Specialists in revising curriculum materials.- Provides clerical support functions, including but not limited to copying, collating, sorting, faxing, filing, distributing and retrieving documents and mail.- Identifies and addresses issues and solutions related to employee engagement. Works with cross-functional teams to identify unique division needs while balancing the overall purpose and requirements of the employee engagement strategy.- Creates and manages new hire surveys.- Manages annual and interim employee satisfaction survey, including the internal planning, promotion and education surrounding the surveying process. Acts as primary liaison with survey vendor.- Develops and monitors a sustained social media/reputation program to encourage feedback and engagement via social media and public awards.- Oversees a variety of employee recognition programs such as Essential Piece of the Year Awards, anniversary breakfasts, etc., based on budgetary fiscal requirements.- Enhances personal/professional growth and development through attending a variety of educational programs, meetings, conferences and seminars as required or directed.
