Human Resource Intern
Current- Assists District Training Manager in managing and scheduling classes through VDOT University in order to enhance employees personal and professional training knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Collects and codes statistical data from surveys regarding General Self Efficacy, Supervisory Support, Learning Transfer, and Learning Maintenance to analyze and present to executive management.
- Demonstrates statistical knowledge by running statistical tests such as regressions, correlations, anovas, etc. through Statistical Practices of Social Sciences (SPSS) and Excel.
- Enhances presentation and interpersonal skills through facilitating and co-facilitating with the district training manager on customer service, diversity and leadership classes.
- Conducts Interview Procedure Session on EEO laws and VDOT hiring procedures to help mangers stay within the law along with staying up to date on Human Resource laws, procedures and guidelines.
