I am a professional that is responsible for ensuring that the grocery store maintains its cleanliness, safety, and appeal to customers. Some duties included organizing items on shelves, removing expired products from displays, and assisting shoppers in their daily needs. In addition, more responsibilities included, such as ensuring products are fresh, helping customers reach out products, unloading trucks, restocking shelves, and answering inquiries about certain products. Also being responsible for the safe handling and distribution of baked goods for customers in a bakery. I also supported bakers and decorators by restocking inventory, assisting with baking tasks, and cleaning the bakery environment.

Responsibilities included processing cash, debit, credit, and check transactions and using a cash register in a retail environment. My duties included balancing the cash register, making change, recording purchases, processing returns, and scanning items for sale. I resolved customers issues and answered questions, I provided a positive customer service with fair, friendly, and courteous service. I maintained a safe and clean working environment by complying with company procedures, rules, and regulations.

I was held responsible for familiarizing quests with the menu and daily specials, accurately recording food and drink orders, running multi-course meals, tally bills, answering questions about the menu and food, communicating orders with the kitchen staff, seating customers, running the cash register, answering the phones, taking orders via phone and in person, received and processed online orders, and assisted with making schedules. Being a server is a high-pressure job that requires tact, patience, and solid people skills.
