Selected as part of the inaugural class of 10 Innovation Fellows in Colorado; working on a capacity building project to support K-12 school leaders in implementing high-quality arts instruction to address the needs of secondary students, especially students of color, those in low-income neighborhoods, and students in alternative learning settings who typically have less access to the lifelong benefits of learning in and through the arts

Developed and operationalized distributive leadership program from pilot of 14 schools to scale district-wide at 140 schools within four years, the impact of which was a major factor in Denver Public Schools being awarded the Great Districts for Great Teachers award in 2017. Led program policy creation and implementation to effectively recruit, grow, and retain teacher talent by establishing career pathways for teachers and aligning selection practices with professional learning and evaluation indicators. Built capacity of 23+ central office teams to push out aspects of program management and shift their roles to better support schools in the transition from a single leader to a distributive model. Developed selection practices and resources and aligned career pathways to needed professional learning opportunities and new leadership evaluation system. Received 2015 DPS Award for Excellence in Team; Customer Service Award for Excellence in Direct School Support in 2014. Launched and developed Silk Road Connect, a national pilot program in K-12 arts integration; co-founded and co-designed the Arts and Passion-Driven Learning Institute in partnership with Harvard University; developed integral partnerships with the NYC DOE, Boston Public Schools, Turnaround Arts, National Geographic, MoMA, the New York Hall of Science, and the Rubin Museum
