The Equity and Innovation Manager supports the planning and implementation of DEI related programs in alignment with Overture’s Mission, Vision, and Values. Oversees the Overture ACES program (Arts Careers Exploration Spotlight Program) and Overture’s Internship and Apprenticeship programs.

Provide program support to Overture’s High School Musical program (The Jerry Awards) and coordinate the annual International Festival.

Assist in coordinating the Jerry Awards, Overture Center for the Arts' High School Musical Awards Program which encourages, recognizes and honors excellence in high school musical theater. Providing application support, scheduling arrangements of reviewers, invoicing, critique editing, and communication with participating schools and their participants. Assist with the management of Jerry Awards events which include event planning, on-site coordination, logistical arrangements, marketing and communications.Assist with Disney Musicals in Schools program by sending out communication with schools and teaching artists, application processing, school site visits, and coordinating special events.Member of the Employee Inclusion Council which helps increase awareness of diverse perspectives and backgrounds for Overture team members through education. As a council we aim to foster an inclusive culture by being proactive in meeting the needs of an increasingly diverse workplace (spectrum of diversity within Overture, diversity of race, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economical background, physical and/or cognitive ability, age, religion, etc.) And to create a space where Overture team members can feel empowered to affect meaningful change.

• Regionally based representative responsible for developing partnerships alongside Enrollment Management leadership and staff and aligning services to Department of Public Instruction’s Academic and Career Planning (ACP) initiatives. • Serve as lead to regional (Wausau/Marshfield) Career Coach/Admissions Counselors and coordinate Early College Credit Program (ECCP) application review and registration.• Foster relationships and advise prospective students, parents and high school counselors regarding admission expectations, application process, basic financial aid processes, and residential/dining options. • Maintain detailed records on each assigned school through CRM (Constituent Relationship Management) software, text messaging and phone calls, maintain post visit communication with prospective students to ensure application submission. • Provide knowledge about enrollment procedures and UW-Stevens Point academic program array to prospective students, counselors, parents, and community stakeholders through various outlets. • Assist with campus preview days, Admitted Student Days, ViewPoint Days and other special group visits to campus.

• Managed and grew an assigned territory of central Wisconsin high schools and postsecondary institutions • Fostered relationships with Native American prospective students, their families, and nations throughout the state of Wisconsin • Coordinated promotions, coordinated and hosted small and large group visits to campus for recruitment purposes • Conducted admissions presentations to a diverse population of prospective students, and their parents, when they visit UWSP and while attending fairs/presentations in their communities • Reading and processing freshman territory applications for admission • Used web-based CRM (Constituent Relationship Management) software to communicate with assigned inquiries and applicants through each stage of the admissions process • Maintained, promoted, and coordinated social media for the admissions office on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat • Used web-based Hootsuite to monitor and assist in growing our social media presence as an office and university through advertisements, daily/weekly postings, and private messaging

I work with area diversity students to help the university own its own backyard. With this I go into classrooms and assist in planning visits for students to visit our campus. I am also the coordinator for our social media outlets for the admissions office.
