As a third-year Chemical Engineering student at UC San Diego, I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills to real-world problems and solutions. I am particularly interested in sustainability engineering and design, and how they can improve the environment and society.I have been involved in several extracurricular and academic activities that demonstrate my passion and professionalism. I am a test proctor for the UCSD Academic Integrity Office, where I ensure the integrity and fairness of exams, and in a similar role, as a Reader for the Physics Department, I grade undergraduate lab reports and correspond with students and professors as necessary. I am also a principal member of Triton Baja, a student organization that designs, builds, and races off-road vehicles for national competitions. I currently serve as Logistics Director; in this role, I support my fellow engineers as they work towards technical and design advancements by obtaining and maintaining sponsor relations, upholding school standards for student organizations, etc. I help connect the technical aspects to logistical ones within the team. Additionally, I tutor my peers in calculus in my spare time, helping them improve their understanding and grades. Through these experiences, I have developed strong communication, organization, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.Currently, I am a Student Assistant at Caltrans in the Capital Outlay Department, which mainly focuses on Engineering & Data Management by maximizing the capabilities of Microsoft Office applications.
