About Allison Dowling
The healthcare arena has always been my passion. Whether this stems from the fact that I was an injury prone child or the fact that my mother was an emergency room nurse for twenty-five years, I knew from a young age that I had a desire to learn more about the state of health care in America. Shortly after declaring my dream to be a health care professional, I realized that the science lab wasn't for me and restructured my goals to focus on healthcare administration, patient accessibility, and government compliance. This path led me to pursue a juris doctorate degree with an emphasis on health law to gain a more versatile skill set. My education exposed me to tremendous opportunities. Whether it is working directly for the consumer, the provider, or a third-party payer, or doing policy analysis, I am comfortable because of my experience and education. My mission is to contribute to the creation of a system where all participants benefit and the integration of actors is efficient and effective. Having worked in numerous roles in the health care industry I have a unique ability to see the issues from different angles and have advanced problem solving skills.
