I link students with appropriate programs and resources to maximize student success, as well as utilize Degree Works, Banner, and Navigate to aid students in their degree completion path. I adhere to Mason's academic policy and procedures, while serving as a liaison for academic departments and campus, as well as keeping records via Navigate.

I administer career programming, such as career fairs and employer networking events via in person and virtual. I implement and spearhead the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Career Readiness Competencies course in the College of Business (COB) with a total of 18 students for the Spring 2023 semester. I coach over 10+ students/week in person and virtually regarding career/internship opportunities, goal setting, and graduate/professional guidance while utilizing resources such as Handshake, Focus 2, One Net, and Virtual Job Shadow. I present and disseminate ECU COB Cunanan Center information and services to over 120 classrooms and campus organizations throughout each semester. I support and collaborate with faculty in the COB by distributing professional development information and reviewing resumes and evaluating practice interviews in the BUSI curriculum.

I played multiple roles in assisting students with pre-admission, summer orientation, registration, and graduation/career plans. I facilitated and co-facilitated group sessions, which included skill building and education re: violence, sexual relations, substance abuse, life directions, family, anger management, and emotion regulation. I provided over 40 families of the DCPS Office of Early Childhood Education (OECE), Family Services Department with a broad range of preventive and supportive services, addressing child development, health, nutrition, parent engagement, family services and children’s learning, to promote school readiness. I utilized an inter-professional approach with the case managers, community parent outreach coordinators, teachers, and schools to provide case management services to the families of the OECE Facilitated and co-facilitated group sessions. I worked closely with Senator John Kerry’s staff to provide awareness and support of the Children’s Mental Health Accessibility Act of 2012. Through these efforts, my Letter to the Editor was published in local Northern Virginia community newspapers. I conducted Intake and Family Assessments via strengths-based socio-cultural interviews, provided Adaptive Skills Counseling, and completed clinical notes, case summaries, and referral information via ChildPlus. I offered person-centered clinical guidance, support, and behavior intervention techniques to DCPS OECE families and staff to support consistency across environments and promote positive change in students’ behavioral, emotional, and health challenges.

I completed Intake Assessments via strengths-based socio-cultural interviews with consumers, and completed proper documentation via Credible software. I utilized differential and multi-axial diagnoses to inform decision-making during multi-disciplinary team meetings, treatment planning, and in individual and group counseling sessions. I provided case management services to clients, which included assisting consumers in defining their goals for recovery, as well as aiding consumers in meeting these goals by locating community resources, assisting in symptom self-management, monitoring consumer’s compliance with medication, and advocating for consumers as they navigate social, governmental and community systems. I completed Psychosocial Assessments, Diagnostic Evaluations, Life Domains Assessments, and Initial Treatment Plans for new consumers to the agency.
