I currently attend the University of Missouri - Kansas City where I am working towards my Bachelor of Science with a major in Biology and minor in Chemistry. I am projected to graduate in May of 2025. After obtaining my bachelors, I plan to attend optometry school to fulfill my dream of becoming an optometrist. While attending UMKC, I am an active member of the Delta Zeta sorority, Pre-Optometry Society, and Women in Science. Within my time as a Delta Zeta member, I have served as the Vice President of Philanthropy and am currently serving my role as President. In both the Pre-Optometry Society and Women in Science, I contribute my time to meetings and monthly events to better serve my university through these organizations. Besides actively participating in clubs on campus, I maintain a high academic record performing at the top of my class in several courses such as Physics I & II, Organic Chemistry I, and Public Speaking. As I prepare for an upcoming graduation within the next year, I hope to obtain Latin honors and begin to narrow down potential options for optometry school.
