As a Design Intern at OST, I collaborated with experienced researchers and designers to expand my knowledge in the design process and demonstrated my skills in UX research, user testing, design exploration, and prototyping. I contributed to internal and client projects, such as product design for Winnebago and UX research for Camp Chef.I am also a UX Designer and Board Member at Clinically Pressed, a non-profit organization that advocates for athletic training services. I transformed their podcast into a website by refreshing their brand, restructuring their site, and enhancing their user experience. I continue to be involved in releasing V1 in Fall 2022 and improving the site. Additionally, I manage the social media and website of Post American Eatery, a restaurant where I transitioned from serving and bartending to management, showing my expertise in taking charge and creating engaging content.With a UI/UX Design Certificate from the University of Minnesota Boot Camps and a BS in Athletic Training/Trainer from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, I have a strong foundation in design principles and a valuable background in healthcare. I have developed soft skills that foster empathy and understanding of user needs while adhering to industry best practices. I also achieved success as the owner of Allison's Custom Cuts, delivering vinyl decals and designs to diverse clients, including Gundersen St. Joseph's Hospital, Hillsboro High School, Etsy, and craft stores.I am passionate about designing user-centric products, continuously learning, and innovating. I am motivated by a commitment to creating meaningful user experiences and maintaining a steadfast dedication to continuous learning and innovative design approaches.
