Manage several social media accounts for the resort, including Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Write press releases for upcoming events and announcements. Copy edit all guest-facing collateral and make sure each piece adheres to AP Style. Speak with radio personalities on-air to promote Christmas and Summer festivities.

Coordinated and maintained the websites for four daily online newspapers: Brentwood, Franklin, Nolensville and Spring Hill Home Pages. As assistant managing editor, I edited articles for each website, supervised four reporters, one copy editor and assigned freelance coverage when necessary. I also oversaw and helped in hiring all student interns. The primary content management system I worked in was Bondware, but we also used Google for all of our news budgeting and Hootsuite for all social media output.

Designed and laid out the local cover and inside pages of the Pensacola News Journal and the Fort Myers News Press using CCI Layout Champ, Adobe Photoshop.

Produced videos for The Leaf-Chronicle's website, covered breaking news, general assignment reporting. Edited the Monday night paper along with the opinion page and the weekly Stewart Houston Times.
