In this position, I helped to promote The Office of Student Conduct and the Student Code of Conduct at over 20 campus events including new student orientation and Family Weekend. Another one of my responsibilities consisted of leading interactive and educational presentations to over 70 classes with audiences ranging from 10-60 students. I was also able to establish a social media presence for the office by generating a professional Twitter handle to build brand exposure and create an open-dialogue with students. I utilized Hootsuite to plan and implement social media timelines and strategies for upcoming events and to spread information. A a member of the University of Alabama's first All Girl cheerleading squad, I had the honor of documenting my team's first trip to UCA College Nationals on AmericanCheerleader.com. My blogs detailed practices, activities, performances, and events all leading up to our nationals experience. This gave insight to what it is like to be a member of a cheerleading team at the University of Alabama and what it was like as my team made history in our first year competing.

As a member of the Communications Team, I was responsible for all aspects of written and visual communication surrounding multiple event series. Some of my duties included: creating flyers through Adobe Creative Cloud, writing press releases, creating marketing strategies and timelines, corresponding with the media, and creating social media content. In this position I became proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Hootsuite, and Constant Contact Email Marketing Systems.
