Report to the CFO and partnering with executive leadership team to accurately report across all areas of the business. Create monthly Board of Director presentations, business summaries, and ad-hoc reporting as needed. Continuously improve front and back-office reporting, business intelligence, financial modeling, and business processes to enhance financial and operational visibility, accountability, and predictability. Collaborate with sales leadership on sales targets and forecasts, pipeline metrics, incentive compensation, and customer retention.

Manage the entire OPEX side of forecasts and budgeting. Partner with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate headcount forecasting and vendor spend. Analyze actual versus budgeted results, highlighting key trends and areas of risk and opportunity. Hold regular meetings with department executives to facilitate understanding of variance to budget and alignment on key expense drivers. Structure the monthly reporting packages to be more forward-looking. Help departments move and adjust spend to achieve current objectives while staying on or under plan. Build out revenue and commissions models in Adaptive Planning.

Develop annual budgets and business plans for the North America market unit; prepare monthly forecast updates, and monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting packages for internal and external (Parent company) reporting purposes. Conduct detailed gross margin analysis across all product lines on a monthly basis highlighting areas of opportunity. Generate various monthly sales and profitability reports and key performance metrics by geography, and business unit. Lead and produce projects for senior management that encompass financial analysis and operational reviews. Business partner for sales, marketing, and manufacturing groups which involves ROI analysis, variance reporting, and budgeting at a detailed level.

Conduct detailed financial and operational analysis to drive optimized profitability and business efficiency for 800 retail locations across North America. Maintain P&L accountability in crafting retail operating plan, leveraging in-depth financial analysis in high-level plan development. Partner with cross-functional personnel spanning retail operations, information services, accounting, and corporate leadership to introduce data-driven, forward-thinking business recommendations and solutions.Generated $3M in annual cost savings – a .2% reduction in food cost variance 

Ensured seamless business planning for cost center encompassing 150 engineers and a $25M budget, forecasting annual expenses and conducting requirements analysis to drive completion of critical projects in compliance with organizational needs and expectations.
