I am a young professional who prides herself on her grit, tenacity, and hard-work. After graduating from the University of Georgia with my B.S. in Biology & B.S. in psychology with neuroscience emphasis, I began my career in academic research. Through my experience in research, I learned my valuable and transferable skills, including data-collection, CRM usage, and patient communication. After several months in academic research, I decided to take on a new challenge: medical marketing and sales. I began my current role as a Provider Relations Representative at Women’s Imaging Specialists, representing our Athens, GA and Monroe, GA territories. After growing these territories, I received a territory expansion, taking over our Hamilton Mill, GA and Norcross, GA sites. I am proud to say that I have been successfully managing a network of over 150 medical providers across my territories, each presenting with different challenges. I have learned so much in my current role, and have found a true passion for healthcare sales and relationship building. Being a Provider Relations Representative has taught me perseverance in the face of rejection and how to truly take initiative in closing a sale. These skills have allowed me to grow my territories & meet my monthly volume metrics. These skills, combined with my “can do” attitude, passion for healthcare, and hunter mentality have well prepared me for a life-long career in medical sales.
