As the singular instruction librarian at Park, I coordinate all library instruction from first year students to graduate students, both in person and online. I have created and assessed lesson plans for all levels in a variety of disciplines, and created scaffolded learning outcomes for students. I create and maintain online learning objects, including LibGuides and infographics. As one of two reference librarians, I answer basic and in-depth reference questions of all levels, including graduate students and faculty members. I provide individualized research assistance to students both in-person and over the phone and online. I am head of library outreach, which aims to communicate our mission, goals, and services to students, staff, and faculty. In this role I have hired and supervise a graduate assistant who works with me on social media, events and programming, and creating a cohesive marketing plan. Additionally, I hire, train, and supervise our student workers, who run our information desk and refer reference questions.
