Identifying and translating data trends and metrics into insightful analyses and recommendations

Perform valuations of initiatives, collaborate with partners in Finance and Pricing, build Models in Excel, present decks to leadership, pull internal data with Teradata (SQL) and SAS, optimize department efficiency with consolidation workbooks

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Supporting the forecasting and planning processes by consolidating inputs from multiple functional areas, such as Operations, Finance, Pricing, Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Business Development, etc.-Analyzing large quantities of historical data to better understand Guest behavior and influence forecasts, plans, and strategic growth initiatives by identifying trends, patterns, and irregularities in key business metrics.-Building complex financial spreadsheet models/analysis to drive business decisions for multiple lines of business at WDW and DLR.-Identifying and implementing strategic business changes, supported with analytical tools and models, that optimize business processes.-Identifying industry practices and academic theory in economics, finance, revenue management, and business development disciplines to advance the department’s analyses.-Preparing weekly and monthly reporting in regards to sales and booking data.

Responsibilities:Followed market changes. Pitched buys/sells/holds. Analyzed company earnings per quarter and other financial reports. Calculated target prices. Discussed firm history, leadership turnover, beta, company size and intentions on expanding, etc.Accomplishments:Acted as Fund CEO in 2015 presenting the fund to the Bethany Board of Trustees as well as training new fund managers on procedures for evaluating stocks and ETFs. Acted as Fund CFO in 2014. Fund outperformed Wall Street every year.Skills Used:Analysis of demand trends for goods and services, business cycles and forecasting, interpreting market summary, calculating expected risks and returns, computing target prices, diversifying portfolio and balancing sector weights.

Announced over PA system for college basketball, softball, baseball, swimming & diving, and track. Entered live stats for volleyball and basketball. Sideline reporting for football. Play-by-play radio announcing for volleyball and field hockey. Kept scoreboard for football, field hockey, soccer and softball. Additional duties included: live tweets and social media updates, running box scores to managers and coaches at time-outs and half-times, and updating college website with athlete photos, bios, and records.

Built a community among residence halls, organized, promoted, and held biweekly programs for residents, acted as the liaison between residents and student life documenting complaints as well as broken campus policies. Wrote weekly reports and incident reports for/with security for legal purposes.
