As a former collegiate javelin thrower and exercise science major, I got to enhance the student-athlete education for the Lancers. Kennedy Catholic HS had just joined a new league, a new classification, had a new Athletic Director, and a new Head Track & Field Coach. Despite all of the newness, the coaching staff had a passion to teach, lead, and inspire the student-athletes to strive for excellence. I even had one thrower compete at the State Championships in javelin. Show less
