Currently working with over 44 school districts and over 170 individual school sites to implement $30 million in renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. Develops technical specifications for RFP inclusion, attends jobs walks, provides creative solutions to on-site issues, assists in post-installation due diligence and submits final project reporting documents.

The Maui Electric Vehicle Alliance (Maui EVA) was a Department of Energy Clean Cities program. The EV Readiness planning grant was for Maui County with outreach to neighboring islands Kauai & Big Island. As project coordinator for Maui EVA, I worked with grant sub-awardees UC San Diego, Honolulu Clean Cities, Hawaii State Energy Office, and numerous stakeholders and cost-share partners to develop an implementation plan for electric vehicle adoption.Established and maintained collaborative relationships with Maui County businesses and non-profits to advance electric vehicle knowledge and program participation.Professional speaking engagements to Maui County and the State Energy Office.

Managed the San Diego Energy Resource Center (ERC), providing 50+ public workshops a year focusing on a wide range of sustainability topics from green building science and electric vehicle adoption to renewable technology development and energy efficient building practices. I worked with numerous stakeholders to provide the most up to date and accurate information for businesses as well as job seekers.

Helped local San Diego students make the transition from college or high school to a career in the green industry through the Emerging Professional Committee with USGBC. Organized a charette to compete in the 2010 Natural Talent Design Competition and developed a community benefitting project to get students experience in green building.

I worked with California contractors that had questions about the California Solar Initiative (CSI) Title 24 Energy Code requirements, which went into effect on July 1, 2009. BEA has Certified Energy Plans Examiners (CEPE) with over 55 years of combined experience which includes thousands of buildings and more than 120 projects pursuing and achieving high levels of energy efficiency, and LEED ratings from Certified to Platinum.

I worked with the Mayor's Policy team to communicate the 2008 water supply crisis to the public. I also worked with bi-national affairs, energy, and water/ wastewater.
