I’ve got a great childhood story that, while tragic, is the best ice-breaker ever. When I was a kid, I had a goldfish named Goldie. It lived for seven years, which is unheard of. It would have lived longer, but my grandma came to visit and fed it three meals a day, just like a human. Unfortunately, too much food makes a goldfish explode. And that’s what happened to Goldie.Telling stories and socializing comes naturally to me, which is an asset as a Product Manager with Delta Faucet Company. I manage the retail bath division for faucets and tub showers, and serve as a product liaison from concept to end-market. I work with designers, research teams and engineers to ensure production. I work with manufacturers, quality teams, and a host of other departments and partners to get them to our customers, which in my case is Lowe’s, Home Depot and Menards. Once we land a collection, I manage the portfolio and monitor product performance. I’ve been a travel junkie ever since I studied abroad in Florence as a college student, and am passionate about experiencing other cultures (I won’t visit the same place twice until I’ve been everywhere else I want to go). My degree is in fashion design, so I’m intrigued with that upfront work in style and creating beautiful things. I’m also a pop culture junkie and can easily dominate trivia night if that’s the topic. I cherish spending time with my husband, kid, and our yellow lab. I savor the company of friends, and thrive in chaos. Being a part of Delta allows me to pursue my passions, contribute to an amazing team, and be a part of a bigger story. With a good ending, so far.
