UT Chemical Engineering Undergraduate- Hook ‘em!Professional interests include:🌿🍄 Bioplastics:An incomplete waste cycle has led to worldwide environmental and human health issues, often disproportionately affecting certain populations. I am interested in exploring+scaling bioplastics made of algae, mushroom, and other biodegradable materials. These products would help to create a more circular waste cycle, rather than the ever-growing plastic waste we continue to perpetuate. 🌎💨 Carbon Capture Technologies:As a Texan, I believe it is our responsibility to protect our ecosystems- and each other- from the pending obstacles that will result from climate change. I am particularly interested in renewable energy and carbon capture. Although new technologies are necessary to combat climate change and environmental destruction, advocacy and policy will be just as critical in protecting our most vulnerable constituents.
