A common theme in my work is the development of organizations, employees and processes and connecting people, organizations and networks to achieve a common goal. My work covers roles as (full-time or interim) director, manager, consultant and non-executive director. My specialities are organisational development, initiating and managing change, developing people and building and utilizing networks. I am interested in the business and not-for-profit services industry.I am innovative, creative, results driven and an independent thinker. I take responsibility for decisions. I have no problem delegating tasks and sharing successes. I'm good at managing a team of professionals. Bound to a common goal and working with people to achieve that, gives me the energy I need. It enables me to encourage my team to put all their efforts in achieving our shared goal. By making myself “vulnerable” in discussions I learn from others.I have gained my experience in management positions at ISZF, DeSom, Vitens, Nuon and Calortex (UK) in areas such as information management, business process redesign, change management, acquisition & post merger integration projects and in improving business and customer processes. I learned that a balance between service provider and business partners is crucial for a successful cooperation. My other interests include sailing, photography, traveling, biking, hiking, cooking, gardening and organizing. I like to create close ties with the people with whom I live and work. I enjoyed living and working in England. On February 28, 1963 I was born in Utrecht. I am unmarried.
