As the manager of the professional services team I was responsible for ensuring the team delivers on the company's commitments in a secure, fiscally responsible way that ensures our customers have continued confidence in Herjavec Group's ability to execute. All customer deliverables were signed off on, including audit reports and architectural documents. In addition, I was responsible for working with the sales team to create Statements of Work that clearly define the scope and deliverable items of our engagements, responding to RFPs, assisting the project management team with resource scheduling, hiring, performance reviews, and participating in customer presentations and escalations.

NTT Com Security (formerly Integralis) provides managed services and information security consulting for global security, governance, risk, and compliance. As the Practice Lead for Perimeter Security I was responsible for vendor compliance management, business development, solution delivery, and relationship management with clients in various industries including financial, consulting, telecommunications, and retail. My primary objective is to foster relationships with these companies that will endure over time while providing the customer value and confidence in NCS's ability to meet their IT security needs.Assignments have ranged from providing integration consulting for IPS solutions, scoping high availability network infrastructures that meet current and future needs, and helping to round out overall corporate security policies with technology, processes, and procedures.

As a senior member of the Network Security Engineering team I was responsible to ensure that implemented solutions met internal and external security requirements using a wide array of products and solutions. To this end I was relied on to design, document, and cost network solutions, assist other members of the team with technical details of their projects, and provide tier three support on priority one (network down) escalations.

As the Senior Security Engineer for an IT outsourcing company I was relied on to provide sound advice and guidance to our clients and employees. As a member of the company's network architecture team I was responsible for security planning, implementation, and maintenance. As part of the day-to-day operations I managed a variety of security products (Firewalls, IDS/IPS) for our client base and acted as a mentor to others within my department and throughout the company. I also led the company’s consulting division which included contributing to RFP responses, costing of projects with associated time-lines, and service delivery.

Responsibilities included mentoring staff on networking technologies and how to implement them securely. Provided sound information and training on NOKIA IPSO, CheckPoint Firewall-1/VPN-1, and the technologies that allow them to perform (ARP, switching, routing, VRRP, Stateful Inspection). I was also relied upon to identify areas of improvement in team members and processes, and assist in implementing corrective action. I previously provided 3rd line support for CheckPoint products, NOKIA IPSO, and NOKIA CryptoClusters (VPN Appliance).
