I am currently a member of the team at Decision Technologies, inc. where I am utilizing my analytics background with the finance team to manage, forecast and budget large scale client contracts as a project controller. I was previously a staff accountant at DesRoches and Company on the condo team where I built my knowledge of public accounting and auditing within the Condo and Home Owner Association industry. I also previously held the Office Manager position at a local business with microbusiness certification and have more than 20 years of experience in the accounting field. I graduated from ODU, earning my Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Analytics with a minor in Criminal Justice. I served as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for a local 501c3 Non-profit organization and was pivotal in correcting and successfully managing the financial records in order to purchase and secure funding for the renovation of a $2.5 million facility. I have an unwavering sense of personal ethics and a knack for working backward to find errors in accounting records. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Engineering Management at ODU where I hope to gain the necessary skills to advance into program management.
