I am a Sr. Director - BI & Analytics at Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), the leading trade association for the equipment manufacturing industry. With over 20 years of experience in econometrics, statistics, and applied economic research, I lead the development and implementation of data-driven strategies and solutions that support the association's mission, vision, and goals. I also provide insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders and members on market trends, customer behavior, industry performance, and policy impact, using advanced analytical tools and methods. Previously, I was a Vice President Applied Research at Rabobank, the world's largest Food and Agricultural bank, where I managed a portfolio of research projects and publications on various topics related to agribusiness, food, and indoor farming.As a manager of credit risk and analytics in CNHi Capital, I managed a team of data scientists. Major responsibilities included but not limited to: risked rating model development, loss forecasts, and scorecard developlment and deployment.I have a Ph.D in Applied Economics from Washington State University, and I am fluent in English, Arabic, and French. I am passionate about using the scientific methods coupled with data and analytics to drive innovation, efficiency, and growth in industries that contribute to the production and provision of food, fiber and shelter to people around the world.
