With over 33 years of professional experience in the Pharmaceutical and Health Care Industry , a strong overview in Marketing, Sales and Business Development, I have had the fortune of working with various Pharma companies in important and strategic roles. Having spearheaded Marketing divisions , I have been involved in formulating marketing strategies to achieve highest possible targets, profitability & market share.Through my vast Career, I have worked for acute pharmaceutical segments such as Antibiotics, Anti-diarrhoeal, Plasma Volume expanders, major Gastro products in the area of Chronic pancreatitis, Peptic Ulcers and IBS. I have also handled major pediatric portfolios such as WHO-ORS, Digestive supplements, Anti-Infectives & Probiotics, Major Ortho products such as NSAIDs & Anti-Osteoporosis drugs.With a vide experience in the launch of new products, product positioning, pricing, budgeting & training, I have also launched products in the Cardiac division -Streptokinase, Urokinase & Low molecular weight heparins. Developed new product concepts & positioning for enhanced sales of products specially in therapeutic areas of neurology and infertility.My work has also included having a close Inter-personal relationship with Key Opinion Leaders in Surgery & Orthopaedics in India covering all leading corporate & government hospitals & medical colleges.Had the privilege of extensive testing of new concepts with leading doctors in the field and subsequent applications in literature in Pharmacology, discussions of protocols with key investigators for conducting clinical trials.Having a sound and proven track record for instituting a performance driven culture, I believe that Team work, Motivation ,Creativity and Business development is essential to set a business on a Growth trajectory.The Indian Pharmaceutical Industry is one of the fastest emerging Inter-National centre for contact research & drug manufacturing services and I personally believe that we have great potential to be one of the largest Pharma based markets in the World, thereby giving a major impetus to India's GDP
