Hi, my name is Alon Eldar, 29 years old.I developed a passion for a more sustainable future, Having studied Permaculture and received my PDC three years ago, one of my teachers introduced me to John Kempf's podcast on regenerative agriculture, and I became fascinated with the idea of bridging the knowledge gap and assisting farmers in using paradigm-shifting practices. To give it my all I knew I had to study the basic biology and biochemistry of plants, nutrients organic and mineral matter, and their interactions with soil biology.I am currently pursuing Elain Ingham's soil consultant program (CTP) at the SoilFoodWeb academy as well as finished a couple of John Kempf's courses at his RegenAcademy. While studying I gave up my old job to work under my mentor, Ido Aviani in his small company "AVIANI" in which I got my first chance to get intimate with the agriculture field, conventional and regenerative alike. This last one and a half years being able to conduct field soil samples, analyze soils and compost using microscopes, brew compost teas, and extracts. working with a diverse range of crops such as fruit trees and field crops has led me to develop humility and better understand farmers as people even more so than mere clientele.Following the war here in Israel and the harsh blow to the labor-intensive agriculture most common here, I decided I wanted to develop myself abroad. My particular interest lies in vegetable crops, and multi-layered pasture systems for holistic small to medium farms as I believe they hold great potential for improving agriculture and food safety in Israel.I hope to find work in the regen-ag landscape in Australia New Zealand, or maybe India.my main preference is interning in a consultancy company but I am open to research or anything that might build me up.On a more personal noteI feel I am especially characterized by integrity and vision. In addition to my technical skills, I bring transferable skills such as effective communication, project management, and critical thinking, which can apply to various job roles and industries. I am highly motivated, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethicI value teamwork and strive to build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues alike.By my dedication to making a positive impact, I aim to attract opportunities in the industry. Through international experience, I hope to bring back valuable knowledge and insights to invigorate the regenerative agriculture scene in Israel, promoting a more abundant and sustainable future for all.
