•Assure that all measuring and test equipment (M&TE), including tools, gauges, and equipment are properly calibrated and controlled in accordance with written procedures.• Inspect and document purchased parts, assemblies, accessories, and material per the nuclear quality program with the provisions of 10CFR Part 21, 10CFR 50 Appendix B, 10CFR72 Subpart G, 10CFR71 Subpart H, ISO 3834:2005, and ISO 9001:2015 and ASME Code standards.• Measure items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation, according to blueprints, nuclear standards or company, and other specifications.• Visually inspect items for defects in materials, and or damage occurred during transit.• Perform CMM inspections with the Faro arm as well as the Faro Laser Tracker.• Work with machinists to ensure products are in conformance with tolerances throughout machining process. • Perform receipt and in-process inspections on material purchased by Holtec or supplied by Holtec’s vendors for use in fabrication.• Review Purchase Specification and verify conformance to purchase order requirements.• Compare quantity and part number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.• Utilize various measuring tools, including dial calipers, micrometers, protractors, height gauge, tape measures, combination squares, and go/no thread gauge etc.
