It is my job to prepare and execute an hour long goalkeeping session three times a week and then watch the goalies during a scrimmage and offer in-game advice.

The soccer goalkeeper position is one of the more unique positions in sports. Not only is it physically demanding, it is also extremely mentally demanding. It is my goal to set up and design training sessions that not only teach the physical skills necessary to play the position, but also teaches goalkeepers mental toughness and psychological skills necessary to succeed as a goalkeeper. Sessions focus on physical strength, goalkeeper skills, position and strategy, and mental toughness/psychological skills.

Plan weekly talks on topics related to sports psychology. Engage the players and help them grow and learn.

DC SCORES goes where kids in need are and creates neighborhood teams that give kids the confidence and skills to succeed on the playing field, in the classroom, and in life. This is accomplished through a combination of poetry and soccer programing. My role as a Site Coordinator is to organize and run practices. I am responsible for ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment. I collect and record athlete data and I communicate with the site and parents as to upcoming events and activities.

I am growing interest in soccer and teaching soccer to inner city youth in grades 1st through 5th.

Zogsports is a co-ed social sports league. At the beginning of every season each team picks their favorite charity, the team that wins the league will receive a donation to that charity. My job as a soccer referee is to set up the field and ensure a safe and enjoyable playing environment for all involved.

The United Soccer Club was a free after school program which introduced soccer to youth in the inner-city and underprivileged communities in the greater Washington DC area. Our 12 week program not only introduced and taught our students soccer, but also taught them the importance of a healthy lifestyle through physical activity and proper nutrition, as well as life skills that are beneficial on and off the field. My job was to organize and run practices meant to help teach and reinforce not only soccer skills, but also proper nutrition and exercise. I was in charge of attendance, player data, and managing game days for my site. I was also responsible for communications between my site, parents, and the United Soccer Club.
