Led a team of 12 technical experts tasked by the Secretary of the Army (SECARMY) to conduct inspections, non-criminal investigations and inquiries for more than 120 Army Sensitive Activities (SA) and Special Access Programs (SAP). Advised the Inspector General (TIG) and SECARMY about the readiness and security of the Army's classified programs and made recommendations to the Army Leadership concerning their stewardship, security, and effectiveness. Inspected Military Intelligence (MI) units and activities to ensure compliance with the law, policy and regulations in the conduct of intelligence activities and oversight. Reported and investigated questionable MI activities. Conducted security management inspections of Army Research Development Test and Evaluation facilities. Represented TIG in Department of Defense and interagency forums on security and intelligence matters.

Attain a comprehensive understanding of governmental systems, the current international environment, structure and function of the Inter-American system, and broad based security issues affecting the Hemisphere and the world. The development of these concentrations is accomplished through the detailed study of political, economic, psychosocial, and military factors of power.

Senior advisor to the Army Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence (Army G-2), providing strategic planning and doctrinal requirements for the Army and maintained liaison with National Intelligence agencies, sister Services and Joint elements. Leveraged extensive operational experience and mastery of tactical intelligence to identify Army requirements and maximize intelligence system creation and allocation. Reprioritized $185M to support the critical needs of deployed forces and obligated $3B to advanced and proven technologies that would provide exponential improvements to Army capabilities.

Director of Intelligence (G-2) for an Army organization consisting of 20,000 soldiers organized into six major subordinate organizations. Provided advice and policy guidance for maximizing the technical skills, training, organization, effectiveness and operations of 800+ intelligence professionals, to include daily and direct interaction and responsibility for 142 soldiers. Ensured training and technical proficiency of intelligence enterprise in a complex situation. With 65% intelligence-personnel turnover, while preparing for a year-long deployment and replacing 80% of the intelligence collection and analysis platforms, worked to maximize basic and advanced skills development in the most efficient and effective manner. This resulted in over 80,000 hrs of training to more than 500 intelligence professionals on 12 distinct collection or analysis platforms and immediate operational effectiveness once assuming combat responsibilities in Iraq.
