Hello, I'm Álvaro, a Cybersecurity Consultant with a solid foundation in cybersecurity, network security, firewalls, and endpoint protection, complemented by hands-on experience in cyber defense practices. I hold a degree in Computer Engineering from the ETSIINF at UPM, where I developed a strong technical foundation that I now leverage in the cybersecurity sector.During my internship at Accenture, I had the opportunity to work in the Purple Team, gaining practical experience with advanced tools such as Cymulate and Crowdstrike. This role allowed me to deepen my understanding of offensive and defensive security strategies and exposed me to a wide range of cybersecurity practices.Currently, I'm with Deloitte, where I’m expanding my expertise in Infrastructure Protection. My focus includes firewall management, Web Application Firewalls (WAFs), network security, and microsegmentation. I am continuously motivated to improve my skills and stay updated with industry developments to better protect organizations against evolving cyber threats.
