Specific Duties and ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the general planning of electrical/electronic maintenance.Understand, abide and implement relevant documentation, regulations, guidelines and procedures.Record and report any undesired events, unsafe practices or near misses to the Chief Engineer and arrange to rectify them if safely possible.Ensure the safe and efficient working of the machinery and all technical equipment under the department.Ensure the ship is ready in electrical aspects for any operational requirements.Control the stores and spares utilized in maintenance tasks related to the electrical installation and equipment.Manage contingency planning and training in the engine department in conjunction with the shipboard contingency plans.Ensure where all manuals, records, books, forms and drawings are locatedPrepare routine orders for key procedures involving systems or equipment.Update and maintain according to planned maintenance system.Ensure familiarization with emergency procedures and contingency training and participate in all associated drills.

Responsible for maintenance and repair of all electrical and electronic system onboard the vessel in accordance with IMO and class standards.

-Responsible for monitoring of the Wificity IP network, responding to outages, and working closely with other Networks Operations Centers and telecommunications providers to debug and diagnose network and circuit problems. Monitoring and managing network using What's up Gold Monitoring.-Directs and controls the implementation of Network projects from feasibility study to drawing plan.-Coordinate with other telecommunication companies, clients' building administration regarding installation of equipment, provisioning and activation of services.-Configures equipment and software for activation, deactivation, modification and/or upgrades.-Identifies areas in which the introduction of new technology will improve business performance.-Online Support to customers concerning their internet connections. Responding to customers by email, chat, and phone. Provides technical services to clients. Served as the initial point of contact for dedicated leased line and collocation customers reporting trouble. Ensures that all systems are supported by necessary documentation and manuals.-Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.-Configuring and managing network traffic using Layer 3 Switch BATM Telco System and Cisco Router.

-Feasibility Study for Copper Cable and Fiber Optic Cable provisioning.-Drawing of Outside Plant plans, optical circuits, NetConfig and schematic diagrams-Project Monitoring and Implementation-Fiber Optic Cable testing and splicing

Network troubleshooting and restoration of MSAN and DLC network.
