Main responsibilities:Provide technical support for mechanical system issues under ATA chapters 20, 21, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, 35, 36, 38, 47, 52 and 56.Specific functions:- Provide technical support to aircraft operations- Assist aircraft maintenance in troubleshooting urgent or repetitive defects - Prepare technical documents in accordance with approved procedures and regulatory requirements- Prepare documents for minor modifications or minor repairs for internal design organisation approval- Work with manufacturers, suppliers, aviation authority or any reliable sources to facilitate analysis of engineering issues.- Evaluate continuing airworthiness data and technical documents from airworthiness authorities, aircraft and component manufacturers- Conduct root cause analysis and provide remedies for excessive and abnormal wear, malfunctions or premature component removals.- Undertake studies to improve aircraft dispatch reliability with respect to technical delays
