Alvin Yeo, Senior Counsel, is the Chairman & Senior Partner of WongPartnership LLP. He was appointed Senior Counsel of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2000 at the age of 37, the youngest ever to be so appointed. His main areas of practice are litigation and arbitration in banking, corporate/commercial and infrastructure disputes. With multiple notable cases under his belt, Alvin has successfully acted on matters involving large claims worth over US$1 billion as well as secured ground-breaking victories which created legal precedents. He has worked on some of the most high-profile disputes in Singapore, including the largest corporate fraud and the largest private banking suit litigation, and was the first Singapore lead counsel in an ICSID arbitration involving an investment treaty dispute. Regarded as a leading litigation and arbitration counsel in renowned legal directories, Alvin was honoured with the “Outstanding Contribution to the Legal Profession” Award from Chambers Asia-Pacific in 2017.
