Conducting dissertation research at the Archives of American Art and the National Museum of American History

Awarded a prize lectureship for a self-designed course using material culture from the eighteenth, nineteenth, and twentieth centuries to teach undergraduates American history. The course was entitled "(Re-) Producing Race and Gender through American Material Culture."Led the class of 21 undergraduate students through weekly in-class visual analysis.

Collaborated with a member of the History Department faculty to co-lead a class on twentieth century American history using documentary and visual sources
