Growing up, I would take apart any gadget I could get my hands on, to find out how it works inside and see if it can be improved. Since then, as an open source developer, I've tinkered up and down the modern software stack: I've built a Python web font subsetter and syntax highlighting microservice, implemented cross-bitness Dwarf Therapist support, and contributed LInux kernel patches to resolve Rust jobserver hangs.In my current role at AvePoint, I've applied those skills to optimize C# code from JIT disassembly, as well as analyze and reduce Azure costs. I also help to explain complicated technical issues in an understandable way to support and customers.No matter the issue, I'll apply the right tool for the job, from JS for userscripts to C for ultra-portable systems programming to awk for quick text processing to C# for solid enterprise development.
