Hello!I am a Program Specialist in the Education & Conservation Department at the Mystic Aquarium, a division of Sea Research Foundation, Inc., in Mystic, Connecticut. I graduated from Connecticut College with a B.A. in Biological Sciences with a Concentration in Ecology and a minor in Art.Much of my professional and academic background has been involved in marine science and I have worked on collaborative conservation projects within the Long Island Sound shoreline as well as in at-risk ecosystems abroad. These projects, whether fieldwork or public outreach based (or both!), have advanced the revitalization of specialized & vital ecosystems.I aim to share the importance of conservation in an applicable and experiential approach through my career in environmental education- and I do so in a method based on an interdisciplinary education received at Connecticut College.
