Strategic Organization Development Partner for key business units serving clients in Military and National Space, ITS, HR and Ground Systems and Services. Consults with business leaders to design and facilitate team engagements across their portfolios, including facilitation and coaching in classified environments with TS/SCI access.

As a graduate recruiter and advisor, Alyssa has developed an annual recruitment plan and pro-actively and assertively contacts inquiries. She works to understand prospective student needs, educational and career interests/goals and makes connections between those goals and enrollment in DU programs. Alyssa is able to effectively use customer relationship management software to support and enhance recruitment outreach. Through these actions, she provides leadership in student advising and recruitment for graduate programs at the University of Denver.

Responsibilities included: Providing admission-related information to prospective students, their families, and high school counselors by telephone, in-office interviews, and electronic correspondence. Alyssa represented CU-Boulder at on-campus information sessions; and traveled throughout Colorado to represent CU-Boulder at college fairs and recruit prospective students. She served as a member of the Talented Scholars Recruitment Team assisting in outreach, participation and planning for recruitment programs, calling nights, admitted student’s scholarship receptions, and Boettcher Scholar recruitment efforts. All of these responsibilities required excellent relationship building skills to network with campus, community and local high school personnel

As a consultant for Alpha Chi Omega, Alyssa recruited, managed, and trained 150+ collegiate women at the organization’s newest business unit in Los Angeles, CA. She collaborated with and trained 8 fundamental chapter leaders to design, develop, and implement strategies that align with the national organization’s values and best practices. Alyssa facilitated workshops and presentations to over 200 individuals including risk management, leadership development, organizational policy, and recruitment. With effective evaluation, coaching and facilitation she was able to increase one business unit’s recruitment returns by 10% by focusing on skills training, coaching and relationship building. She built and maintained professional relationships with dozens of campus and community personnel and departments as well as planned, advertised and executed over 25 events for over 150 customers, including annual fundraiser event.

Monitored the health of the animals on an ongoing basis and rapidly identified any health problems or conditions Provided a healthy, safe, clean and pleasant environment and facilities for the animals and the public as well as clean and sterile medical equipment; trained new Veterinary Assistants in all practices and procedures
