After participating in science fairs as a child I knew I wanted to be a scientist. I explored my options in undergraduate at YSU. Threw the years had several internships at Ohio EPA, a community land bank, and participated in an REU with OSU at Stone Laboratory on Lake Erie. That led me to continue my interest in surface waters. I have my Master's in Ecology at the University of Toledo that focused on the microbiology of Lake Erie and the land impacts on that community. Post graduation I enhanced my laboratory skills with short-term contract work with UT and OEPA. I am looking for a job to utilize my varied experience in the environmental field.
