As a Publicist, I am responsible for developing and executing marketing and publicity campaigns for a diverse range of books and authors. I work with media outlets, bookstores, festivals, and influencers to generate buzz and exposure for our titles, as well as coordinate events, interviews, and launches.I have a BA in Communication with a minor in English from Carleton University, and three certificates in Publishing, Multimedia Storytelling and Content Marketing, and Multimedia Journalism from Ryerson University and University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. These educational experiences have equipped me with the skills and knowledge to create engaging and compelling content for various platforms and audiences, as well as to understand the trends and challenges of the publishing industry.I am passionate about books and storytelling, and I enjoy sharing my insights and opinions through my blog and Instagram account, where I post book reviews and news. I am also an experienced leader, having managed teams of visual merchandisers and retail associates in my previous roles at Indigo and Mendocino Clothing.
