In this role, I support the Interim Director by writing and compiling materials such as donor letters, annual reports, and marketing plans. I lead a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice subcommittee and am developing a new application and selection process for our Creative Collaborations program. I manage our Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts and regularly host virtual events.

In this role, I managed IU Cinema’s Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook pages. I developed and executed social media plans each week, created a social campaign to raise awareness of the IU Cinema blog, and commissioned social graphics from our Design and Marketing Manager. I continue these duties as Marketing and Programming Coordinator, but have taken on additional responsibilities beyond social media.

-House managed VIP seating areas of 100-1000 guests -Supervised 4-12 ushers per event; assigned positions, trained, gave feedback -Created plan and budget for future VIP seating improvements, including deluxe table and community table options

-Creating silent auction packages from donated goods and experiences -Naming and writing creative descriptions for silent auction packages -Package design, silent auction setup and management during event

Worked with students who had completed English as a Second Language courses and were transitioning into High School Equivalency courses; taught lessons to a full class, tutored students one-on-one, proctored exams, tracked student progress

-Reviewed claimants’ documentation to determine legal ownership of lost assets-Conducted research using LexisNexis, legal documents such as wills and court orders, and other documentation-Conducted proactive research to locate owners of high-value lost assets by contacting these individuals by phone and in writing-Served on a marketing committee to strengthen brand and raise awareness of Indiana Unclaimed
