Oversaw planning, preparation, marketing and execution of FRY Fest. Coined "A Celebration of All That is Hawkeye", FRY Fest was created to honor the Legendary University of Iowa football coach, Hayden Fry, and to kick-off the University of Iowa athletic seasons. Including the World's Largest Hawkeye Tradeshow, Hawkeye Pep Rally and the largest outdoor concert held in the Iowa City/Coralville area, this celebration was created for and enjoyed by over 15,000 Hawkeye fans of all ages! - Effective fundraiser by securing $10,000 in sponsorships and donations- Coordinated all aspects of tradeshow with venue, along with serving as on-site contact for all vendors- Responsible for managing multiple tasks within short timeline- Proven to be a dynamic and creative problem solver- Coordinated and led weekly and bi-monthly planning meetings comprised of 15+ members each, involving 4 different committee agendas- Established and nurtured relationships with key industry leaders in Iowa City and Coralville to raise awareness of event
