I pick up shifts babysitting for children where I provide high-quality care to children in a safe environment. In this role I am in constant communication with the caregivers while engaging in activities with the children and tending to their needs. This is a babysitting service which means that I serve various different families on a more flexible schedule.

As a Sunday school teacher, I create lesson plans that are congruent with the goals of the Hebrew school, with a focus on Jewish holidays, prayers, stories from the Torah and learning to read hebrew. I was responsible for the safety and wellbeing of at least 15 students, creating an engaging atmosphere that allowed them to learn and grow.

For 7-9 weeks during the summer, I work as an overnight counselor where I am responsible for the wellbeing of at least 10 children aged 7-13. In this role, I create a supportive environment for campers and their needs which includes leading and planning activities, providing 24/7 supervision and care, and guide campers to become more independent in their daily activities. In this role, I also work to manage various camper conflicts whether it be interpersonal, medical or behavioral as well as maintaining responsibility and safety of campers through understanding of first aid and camp safety protocols.For my impact on camp programming, inclusivity and overall work ethic, I was awarded with the 'Fiterman Kol Ha Kavod Award' by camp leadership and my peers. My commitment to diversity and representing all campers at camp caused me to be recognized by The Summer Camp Society as a nominee for the 'Camper Advocate Award'.

For three years, I worked as a classroom teacher, aiding in planning Sunday school activities for children ages 5-13. In my fourth year, I was the inclusion specialist where I worked to develop plans and strategies to help children feel comfortable in the learning environment as well as provide them with the tools to learn and handle strong emotions they may feel.

I worked with children ages 5-12, planning programs, taking them to activities and working to diffuse conflict.

I worked in a team setting at Mathnasium where the needs of the students would be identified and students would work to improve their math grades and understanding of foundations of math through targeted practice and effective tutoring. I worked 1:3 which meant that I would help a few kids at once for hour long sessions where I worked to create an engaging environment that promoted a more positive attitude towards the students' math abilities.
