Hi, my name is Alyssa! I graduated from the Master of Arts Counseling Psychology program at Texas A&M International University in December of 2020.I am a proud Laredo citizen, with a passion to ensure equal access to mental health treatment and support. I developed my skills in counseling while also developing my research skills. I provided evidence based treatment to individuals in my community and work tirelessly to spread mental health awareness through community outreach events. I collaborated with university organizations for the purpose of educating college students on mental health and equipping students with the skill to cope with day-to-day stress. I am in the process of becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor and currently serving individuals residing in Bexar County as a Bilingual Adventure therapist. In my free time, you can find me working out at a local gym or at a local park.
