In my second semester of college, I grappled with balancing my current and prospective priorities. My academic sphere at the time (as an Astrophysics student) highlighted my problem-solving skills, analytical eye for detail, and love for numbers. However, I developed a strong curiosity to explore another side of my education where I could apply these skills in a human and health focused manner.I changed my major to Human Development & Family Sciences (BS) and fell in love. My interest in the brain, human behavior, social sciences, biology, and data analysis powered me through the rest of my college career. While I never truly abandoned my younger self's affinity for math and physics, more traits have come to the forefront of my present-day self: Open-minded, mediatory, presently aware of emotions and behavior, endlessly curious, and fascinated by the human experience. I prioritize being my best self to better help those around me. What can we ever accomplish as a society if we don't prioritize the well-being of our neighbors? How can we expect to heal society's current structural wounds without developing an empathetic nature for all life?I want to make a positive impact in people's lives, no matter how big or small. With my strong experience in customer service, collaboration, organization, and analytics, I hope to bring my mindset and skills to any problem waiting to be solved. Hook 'em!
