I have recently completed my final year of Immersive Technology BSc at Glyndwr University. My role for the majority of team projects has been 3D Artist and Environment Design but I have also developed solo projects using Unreal Engine's blueprints and Torque 3D.During both of my years at Glyndwr University, I have held the role of Scrum Master for my team projects. This required me to have a good understanding of agile methodologies and the use of Jira software. Although this role did not mean that I had any management responsibility for the team, I did have to ensure that work was being completed in a good amount of time and also that there were no issues moving forwards with the projects. I was required to liaise with our Project Leaders to organise meetings between them and the team. This was to make sure that work was being completed to a high standard and moving forwards in the right direction to fulfil the brief. For my final year project at Glyndwr University I decided to work as part of a team. I predominantly worked as the Level Designer and 3D Artist, in addition to this I also wrote the storyline, script and play-through conditions. Although my role was mainly artistic, I also worked closely with my team-mate who was the Programmer for the project. She had some difficulties as our project used mechanics which the engine was not built to easily accommodate. This meant that sometimes I had to assist her in solving the problems this presented. Some of the mechanics we needed used a similar concept to a solo project I had built for a different module during second year, so the techniques used could be adapted to suit our needs for this project. I generally prefer to work in a creative role but my skills in Mathematics and Physics adapt well to programming. The logic needed for this uses the problem solving skills I have developed from studying these two subjects.
Listed skills include Unreal Engine 4, Maya, Mudbox, Zbrush, and 25 others.
