I have never been a strong navigator and it wasn't until my discovery of maps that I could reliably get from point A to point B. Imagine my excitement when I learned that I could make maps; it gave me a whole new sense of direction.Since completing my masters in Geographic Information Science, I have spent the last 5+ years on contract with the US Army Corps of Engineers San Francisco District supporting the implementation and management of their enterprise GIS. I've also been working with the California Coastal Sediment Management Workgroup, which has given me ample experience coordinating with state agencies, environmental groups, planners, city governments and researchers. I am currently seeking a long-term position in the Portland, Oregon, area. My ideal position would be project based with a combination of duties including GIS database management, spatial analysis, and map production. Specialties: Communicating GIS, writing and reading metadata, synthesizing complex datasets, managing large scale project databases, RDBMS, and visualizing spatial information.
Listed skills include Arcgis, Spatial Analysis, Arcsde, and Rdbms.
