During the 2021 Summer Season of Porthouse, as Assistant Master Electrician, I took charge of other roles such as the season programmer and the Assistant Lighting Designer. As Assistant Master Electrician, my job was to assist in the day-to-day tasks and assign roles to our team, keep organized proper paperwork and schedules, as well as be a point of information for both our team and to the Master Electrician. The entirety of the electrics team is responsible for loading into and out of the venue as well as change over in-between shows, so as Assistant Master Electrician, I was responsible for helping with that work, as well as overseeing our team and ensuring safety as well as efficiency. During this time, I also worked as the seasons Lighting Programmer and Assistant Lighting Designer for “BKLYN” and “Altar Boyz”.

Took on various roles from crew member (Electrician, Follow Spot Operator, Lighting Board Operator) to team leads (Follow Spot Coordinator, Master Electrician, Lighting Designer) for the duration of employment. During team lead projects, I was responsible for maintaining contact with other team members and keeping schedule of work hours, as well as creating paperwork and presentations for projects.
