There is a first for everything and for me, I was the first to try out many different kinds of careers in my family. At 18 years old I had my own business working with a chiropractor as a massage therapist. This field taught me a lot on self-love, self-care, grounding myself, and most importantly helping others. When I was 20 years old, I worked for a car dealership. This field taught me about customer service, how to listen to my managers, how to collaborate with others to get a problem solved and most importantly how to navigate a computer and applications. At 22 years old, I went back to college to learn about Audio engineering. This field taught me more about technology and its use in music. Though i was more interested in the technology part, this brings me to my current field. I am happy as I am proud of myself to have enrolled in Year Up Bay Area to learn information technology. Currently, I am an TSS Engineer/Technician at Fit Technologies. Everyday I am learning something new and collaborating with amazing people. Every field has made me wiser, bringing me to the point where I am at now. My most important goal here is to show the kids that I raise that it is okay to keep trying until you find what you like. Once you do find it, strive to learn and be all you can. By pursuing my career, I hope to inspire all to do the same so we can all close the opportunity divide and secure a safer future!
